A delegation from the Military Academy "General Mihailo Apostolski" – Skopje participated in the "International Week" organized by the Norwegian Defence University College (NDUC) in Oslo from February 11 to 13, 2025. This visit reinforced academic cooperation and strengthened ties between the two institutions.

- The "General Mihailo Apostolski" Military Academy – Skopje actively participated in the annual Partnership for Peace (PfPC) conference, held at the National Defense Academy in Vienna, Austria, from January 28 to 30, 2025. This conference serves as a key forum for exchanging knowledge and experiences among high-ranking officials, academics, and security and defense experts. The main focus of the event was cognitive warfare, hybrid threats, and educational cooperation in the region.
- On January 29, 2025, the Military Academy “General Mihailo Apostolski”– Skopje participated in the kick-off meeting of the European Digital Innovation Hub INNOFEIT (EDIH), funded through the “DIGITAL-2023-EDIH-04” call. The project is aimed at supporting Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) and Public Sector Organizations (PSOs) in their digital transformation and enhancing their competitiveness.
- At the Military Academy "General Mihailo Apostolski," a simulation exercise on a cyber-hybrid attack was conducted to test the preparedness of state institutions in responding to cyber threats. The event marked a crucial step in strengthening national cybersecurity and digital resilience. As part of the activities, the British Ambassador to North Macedonia, Matthew Lawson, officially handed over the minimum cybersecurity standards for government institutions to the Prime Minister of the Republic of North Macedonia, Hristijan Mickoski. These standards are the result of months of dedicated work and collaboration among professors and assistants from the Military Academy, who actively participated as experts in the project and were part of the working group responsible for their development
- On December 23, 2024, during a formal ceremony organized at the Military Academy, diplomas were awarded to cadets and students who successfully completed their education. At the event, the Dean of the Military Academy presented diplomas for the completion of the first cycle of studies to the 23rd class, diplomas for the completion of the second cycle of studies, as well as diplomas for the completion of specialization in command and staff training
- During 16-20- th December 2024, a meeting was held in Skopje for ERASMUS+ KA210-ADU - Project No. 2022-1-TR01-KA210-ADU- 000084905 on the topic: “Integration through social and digital learning”. Participants in the meeting were: Republic of Turkey, organization Beytüşşebap Halk Eğitim Merkezi Müdürlüğü as the main coordinator of the project, Republic of France, organization Comité de Liaison Diagonal France, Military Academy – General “Mihajlo Apostolski” Skopje (host partner) and Republic of Spain, Asociación para el Desarrollo socioemocional de la persona, la sociedad y para la cooperación Internacional Uno (partner).
- On December 10, 2024, the formal opening of the master’s studies for the 2024/25 academic year was held at the Amphitheater of the Military Academy "General Mihailo Apostolski." The event was inaugurated by the Dean of the Academy, Colonel Prof. Dr. Mitko Bogdanoski, who welcomed the new students and emphasized the importance of their commitment and perseverance in successfully completing the second cycle of studies.
- The Dean of the Military Academy, Prof. Dr.Sc. Mitko Bogdanoski, Colonel, held a meeting with a delegation of the Association of Defense Attachés. The delegation included the majority of both resident and non-resident military attachés. During the meeting, a presentation was given on the activities, programs, and capabilities of the Military Academy and the Cadet Training Center, with a focus on the commitment to enhancing education and training in the field of defense.
- Тhe Military Academy "General Mihailo Apostolski" hosted the Defense Attaché of the Kingdom of Norway, Colonel Dag Magne Lunde. The meeting was attended by the Dean of the Academy, Prof. Dr. Mitko Bogdanoski, Colonel; the Vice Dean for International Cooperation and Research, Prof. Dr. Elenior Nikolov, Colonel; and the Erasmus+ Program Coordinator, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ljupcho Shosholovski, Major.
- The Military Academy, as a leader in the academic and institutional sphere, joined global action on behalf of recognition of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women and Girls, November 25th. This year, the event took place under the United Nations slogan #NoExcuse and the global 16-day campaign of activism aimed at eradicating all forms of gender-based violence. All activities conclude on December 10th, International Human Rights Day.
- Tirana, November 13, 2024 — Organized by the Military Academy "General Mihailo Apostolski" / Institute for Cybersecurity and Digital Forensics, two cybersecurity workshops focusing on cybersecurity incident response and crisis communication are being held in Tirana, Albania. This activity is conducted in cooperation with the National Cyber Security Authority (NCSA) and is supported by the U.S. Department of State and CRDF Global. These workshops mark a significant step towards enhancing cyber resilience and building cybersecurity capacities for professionals in Albania.
